Subject: FLASH: animated menu button problems

Hi All

I posted this question on Friday last week,I still have not been able to
solve the problem...

I have created an animated pop-up menu.
When the user selects one of the options I need to play scene 2 of my flash
movie.

But when I try apply the 'go to' action to the instance of the button
in the pop-up menu movie clip, I cannot choose to change the scene to 'scene
2'. I can only choose 'current scene' When I select a frame number and test
it. - it jumps to the frame number within the movie clip as opposed to a
frame number in the main movie.

How would I get the buttons in my movie clip to go to other scenes in my
movie? Do I apply the 'on release go to and play'

I have included a fla file with the pop up menu.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as the deadline is closing in (as
usual : ))
