Not so. Any unauthorized use of someone else's art or branding is 

potentially a copyright violation. But it's not likely you'd ever be sued 

if it stays between you and one friend. Also many countries have fair use 

clauses that might allow use of copyrighted material in parody, which is 

what your piece is.
