I use Macromedia Fireworks for making web graphics. It's much better at
optimizing and indexing colors. However, if you're using a really
complicated image, you might want to create layer masks in Photoshop and
then channel out the part of the image you want transparent.

Subject: FLASH: export gif w/ tranp bg

Hello -
I am in urgent need of help with the following.

I need to export .gif images with a transparnet
background.

I am creating a series of image files (not flash
movies)in flash. Ultimtely they need a transparent
background. The art is 1/2 photo real, 1/2 drawn art.

When I export the flash image as .jpeg and make the
transparent bg in photoshop, I get semi-transparent
pixels which create a halo effect around the art.

May I have some insite on how to solve this?
Thank you all -
