this may make more sense to someone else, but it doesn't make sense to me;
it suggests G2 Player is altering the wav files, which is unlikely. Have
you tried this with wav's that have worked for you in the past? I have to
wonder if you're trying to import a wav that's in an unrecognized format.
There are several formats for wav, the one you want is Windows PCM.
