Hi David, here's my opinion since you asked,


Just say NO! to plain loading sequences.


The loading sequence should be a movie in itself.  Say that again.


Take the audience's attention *away* from any perception of loading.


Get creative about this.  Be a master of distraction.


Here are 2 LARGE movies with NO "please wait" loading sequences and yet

there is something going on all the time to keep attention.

If you look away from these when they are running, you'll miss something.

That's the trick IMHO.
