FLASH: Sound events

[Quack the Duck]

I have two scenes

Scene 1. there is a background sound, and a button tha has a sound on the 

release.

The button takes you to Scene 2.

I want the background sound to cease  on leaving scene 1.

I have worked out a couple of ways to do this, but Im sure there must be an 

easier way.

Help, assisatance and external knowlegde needed
