You could use some kind of scripting language such as
Javascript/VBScript/PHP to read the cookies and pass the values to
Flash.....

Subject: FLASH: flash + cookies?

hi, new to this list...

I have been scouring the net and have looked through three
different books on Flash 4.0, and I can't find anything that
answers this question--

Is there a way to pass information from cookies to Flash?

Is there any kind of more technical resource (book, web site)
that would give me specific info on how to accomplish this and
other more advanced features (like submitting Flash data to a
cgi script?) So far all the info I have found goes _up to_
the point on mentioning that this might be possible, but then
says nothing about how to actually do it...
