FLASH: Buttons "Over" Movie Clips

Hi-

    I've spent the last hour on this problem. It's time to ask for help ;)


I want an animated button "over" state. I made the movie clip containing the

animation for the over state. I put it in the over key frame, it's the ONLY

thing there. I even tried putting it in it's own layer. The first frame,

layer 1, of the movie clip has Play as an action.


When I turn on the buttons to test it, only the first frame of the movie

clip shows. It doesn't play.


How do I get it to play the mc while the button is in the over state?


A confused flasher...
