Need more info. What do you mean by "select" - you, in development mode?
Or the user? If the user, how do you mean select? Are the items on the
screen text boxes? Movie Clips? Buttons? Draggable items? What is it you
are wanting to "do" with these items?

As far as I know, there is not a "double-key" detection in Flash 4.0 if that
is what you need, but as far as workarounds, we'd need more info I think, to
know what you're trying to accomplish.
