Subject: FLASH: Can you Stream without Preloading Music Clips?
From: jefferis peterson

I am doing a site for a record company and they want to put up clips
of music for people to listen to.

On regular html, I've done this before, but I was wondering if there
is a way to have a list of songs/clips ready to play that would load
and stream them without creating the huge file that would occur if I
had all music clips load with the Flash.swf.

Also, I was wondering if there would be a way to blend .swf's with
invisible frames:
Here's my thought:
The left side of the page would be a Site Movie, and the right frame
would be a list of clips that would perhaps load levels...

OR

The left side buttons would actually load .swfs into the right frame.

If each music clip is 108 k after export in MP3, and I have 15 clips,
I want to avoid a 2 meg download before clips are available..

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Jeff
