I asked my little brother, (who is 24 and not really very little):


	"he's using an string literal as opposed to an expression.  so

he's asking

	flash to literally add 1 to a word as opposed to the content of

the variable.

	he needs to set flash to deal with the expression rather than

the literal.


	i think that should point him in the right direction.


	am I a flash god?  i think so..."

I have retrieved a value from a coldfusion template.


I've sent it back to flash as &ID=#ID#


When I create a textfield in flash called ID, it perfectly shows the

value which ID should be.

But I can't calculate with the field ID.

Let's say ID=ID+1 gives ID+1 not 2(if ID would be 1). Guess Flash

doesn't see it as a number...


Any tips?
