Hi Joëlle,

If you don't want to stretch or crop part of your movie then using 100%
and ShowAll is a good option. But unless your movie fits the browser
window's exact porportion you are going to have areas that may appear
as a border with objects outside of the Editor's Stage safe area
appearing on the Flash Canvas.

The solution is three-fold. First select an aspect ratio that is a good
fit for your audience or a good compromize. Second overscan your
background. Which directions you need to overscan in is based on the
Setting of SAign. Third do not allow objects to be visible off stage
until they are needed.

Aspect Ratio is calculated by the Width divided by the Height.

Directions to overScan are the ones not specified in the SAlign
specification.

SAlign not set: All 4 directions.
SAlign ="T" - Bottom, Left and Right
SAlign ="L" - Top, Bottom, and Right
SAlign ="TL" - Bottom, and Right
Etc. (see page 179 in the manual for all the SAlign options).

By manually adjusting the Aspect Ratio in your browser you can see how
your Movie will look at various ratios.

Remember not to place content outside of the defined safe area of the
Stage in the Flash Editor. Hide your background to test and verify this.
