FLASH: interesting dilemma

We have been working on an interactive quick start guide and decided to view the work that we have done so far on an older macintosh with a 3.0 browser. One of the fonts (sabon I think) came up as helvetica. Is that a bit odd or what? Is the only way to make sure someone sees the font you want them to to break it apart?
