FLASH: Tablet vs mouse

Folks, as a flasher/web designer I have been using the mouse for years, only 

recently (last 3 years) specializing in flash.


For an artist using mostly Flash, Illustrator and Photoshop would I find a 

tablet the better choice over a mouse?


I recently noticed mr. hillman curtis sporting some ads for the wacom tablet 

and have begun to wonder about its special features.


I was figuring some of you flash artists could give me your opinion on your 

personal choice of tools.
