Subject: FLASH: Flash 5 Instability

Interesting series of posts. I am experiencing the same instability and it
is causing me to rip out what little hair I have left. There is no common
factor other than the simple guarantee - that means open Flash 5 and it
will crash- that that my Mac PB G3 with 192 mb RAM running OS 9.04 will
always lock up tighter than a bull's butt in fly season at some point after
launching F5. It has locked up after I move a small bitmap. It has locked
up after I click a frame. It has locked up when I add a layer. It has
locked up when I open a palette. Totally random. To add a bit of fuel to
the fire, my files are always less than 1 meg. File size, therefore, might
not be an issue.

Other than save early and save often, there seems to be nothing I can do.
It is so bad I have gone back to Flash 4.
