Subject: FLASH: Buttons in movie clips help still.... F5
From: TESTER-KIRBY Cheryle

Some time ago I posted a message about trouble with buttons in movie clips
in F5, well still have not found the answer. If for example you have a movie
clip with a text in it and after 4 frames the text turns into a button (this
is only an example) you then program the button to

on (release) {gotoAndStop ("Scene 2", 1);} it does nothing, place movie clip
on "scene1", though it was scene related, even if the movie is only one
scene it still does not work

does anyone know the reason for this? am I doing something wrong, honestly I
am pulling my hair out with this one.... please help.....

thanks
