Subject: RE: FLASH: Size Limit to Load Variables in F5

jd Thanks for your reply... I have a db of movies and I am trying to list
the index of the titles within Flash. The list is here:

http://www.bloodykisses.com/bkhtml/movies/movieindex.php

I've modified the script just to get the title without the colors etc, and
it.... hehe nevermind I just looked to see where it stopped and one of the
titles has an & in it - OOPS!

Thanks again!
jb

For most of Flash there are numeric limits, but these are usually grossly
overshadowed by the practical limits... big files tend to be a hassle in
browsers before they hit the frame or symbol limits, for instance.

For text loading, you should be able to load any text a typical web
audience is likely to wait for. I do know that an improperly URL-encoded
LoadVariables request can suffer early truncation, but you should otherwise
be able to use normal web-sized loads.

What's up there? what are you seeing, trying?
