And the Investigator says "Do you remember where they were last seen?"

First see if windows such as "Frame" or "Sound" are showing (in F5) since
these windows also have the instance and effects within
them....otherwise....they may be on the very edge.

I actually pushed one of my windows off screen and "lost" it...I only found
it after my cursor changed to a black diagonal arrow when I passed it along
the edge of the screen where I lost it. The windows now collaspe (in F5)
when you click on the top part which can leave only a very thin edge. If
you are using F4, well, I don't know where they are.
