Unfortunately, you can't run multiple versions of IE on the same Windows
operating system. In our shop, we have multiple system images burned onto CD
so we can set up any of our test machines with a variety of Windows OS
version and IE version combinations by re-imaging the system. Takes about 15
minutes.

Any serious Web design house should have the proper test configurations
available like this to ensure that your work stands up to the challenges of
the real world. Especially when every new version of every browser has its
own unique quirks (read the thread about NS 6 problems and you'll see what I
mean!)
