Just went through the shockwave 8 player upgrade routine by disabling the
shock plug.
I am very disappointed by my experience.
I am asked if I am 13 years of age, or older. Then I am asked to supply my
First and Last Name and my e-mail address.
Macromedia, cut the marketing crap to my site visitors that just need the
friggen plug-in. Jeez.
We pay good money for these developing tools only to find that you leach off
of our site visitors.
Get a grip.
Are you trying to sell developing tools or capitalizing on our hard earned
site visitors. I need to know!
I was turned off, and am sure *most* my site visitors are as well.
Sorry for the rant, but this is very serious . . .
