I just looked at some interesting stats at
http://websnapshot.mycomputer.com/languages.html that show that of all
languages used by web surfers, Japanese is the most predominant...more so
than English! It doesn't make obvious sense to me right away, but there it
is.

Just from my own personal experience, I would have to say that a greater
percentage of Japanese are online than Americans.

There is a separate page that shows stats on plug-ins at
http://websnapshot.mycomputer.com/languages.html. That shows that 95.4% of
web surfers have the Flash plug-in installed.

Combine those two stats and you should be able to show that the Japanese are
no laggards when it comes to Flash and/or the Internet in general.
