Hi Phil,
When you say Flash Writer keeps the layers intact did you export with
layers as separate files checked? Because when I export without that
checked I got everything grouped separately but all items were on the
same layer. The only way I kept my layer info was to save as Illustrator
7 format and import that .ai file into Flash.
