Three things that make working with multiple MCs easy.

1) Maintain a 1 to 1 relartionship between symbol edit and the stage.

2) Create a frame border the size of the stage that is center in the

symbol window, use it as a guide to align or verify alignment of the

symbol on the stage. Change it to a Guide Layer (do not delete) when you

don't want it to appear outside of the symbol edit window.


3) Use the frame created above as a guide to see the border of the stage

inside the symbol edit window. Add other items that would be helpful as

guides to your symbol edit window and make them Guide layers.


4) At the beginning of the project create a template of common guides

and common elements that appear on the main timeline making them Guide

layers. Duplicate this template for all your visual MCs. If you do this

properly then alignment will not a problem and design time should be

speeded
