Subject: FLASH: Mysterious variables, or : "If at first you don't succeed..."

Well, I'll try again.
Maybe my yesterday's call for help was a bit confuse (but then again, it
could just have been totally uninteresting... Hmm, I won't consider this
second option) ;)

So, I have a variable embedded in a movie clip, and I want to address
this variable with a command in which the movie clip's name will be a
variable.

-> I can *set* this variable with the following line :
Set Variable: "/"&MyVariable&":Value" = "Hello, world !"

-> *but* I can't find a way to get back the value of this variable, for
example, I've tried to trace its value with :
Trace : "/"&MyVariable&":Value"
==> The output was... Well the correct path to the variable, obviously,
but *not* its value.

I've also tried :
Trace : /MyVariable:Value
==> And in that case, the trace output was void.

*Where* do I go totally wrong ? I feel it must be a syntax problem, but
maybe there's more to it than meets *my* eye ??!?

Thanx again,
Anik, now really confused =;( ?
