RE: FLASH: Printing with Flash 4/Mac--nightmare

H e l p, please.

I haven't been so lucky.  In fact, it's starting to be a nightmare because I

can't print the simplest doc from my Mac.


I have to develop in Flash 4 because the project will be printing vectors

from within Director. (Does anyone know what the estimated date for the new

Flash xtra for Director is supposed to be released?)


I've tried printing various test movies that were very basic.  Finally, I

tried the macromedia example (included in the SDK) which also didn't work.

I tried a flash in director sample someone else created and printed off

their machine (PC), but it didn't work on my Mac.  I have heaps of pages

(and guilt for killing a tree in the process) with the same error message.

I also tried on a different printer with the same result.  I even tried from

within Flash 5.  I finally tried those same files on my PC and it printed.


Oh, calling the powers of macromedia or other flash gurus. . .any ideas?

Is there something on my Mac that is missing or set incorrectly?


I'm sure you'll be hearing more from me as I slug through the print SDK.

(Printing loaded movie clips that are resized to fill the print area--is it

possible?)
