You might want to use a dhtml layer containing the Flash and embed the
Quicktime in an html page underneath. The only difficulty would be that you
could not really synchronize the animation with the Quicktime. If you want
to import the video into Flash, you could get really huge file sizes. It
depends on how long the video is.

This is a plea from a friend of mine.. hope someone can help, as I've never
done anything like this:

>I want to create a kind of telestrator for my QuickTime videos. A
telestrator is what you see John Madden using when he draws diagrams on the
screen during a football game. Ditto The Weather Channel when John Hope does
little hurricane symbols. I finally figured out that Flash combined with
Quicktime would do this. So I've been experimenting .. but keep in mind I've
never used Flash before.

I import the movie, set the length and frame rate, then create a new layer
for each addition I want to make. But how do I get those additions animated?
I want to have an arrow draw itself onscreen, for instance, or a circle to
draw itself around an object on the Quicktime layer.

The final result would be vector animation overlaying a Quicktime movie..<
