Subject: FLASH: How to dual drag MC's?
From: John Olson

How would someone go about dragging two items?

I want to use a custom cursor and when the user clicks on an item..
it drags along..

One idea I thought of would be to create a new MC "dualMC" that was
the cursor MC on top of the itemMC.. and when the user clicked down
it removed the original cursorMC and the itemMC and replaced it with
the dualMC that contained both graphics/movie clips.. (sorry if
that is real confusing)..

Is this the most direct approach (this is currently what I am
doing)..and is there a better approach?

Basically, I want to create a toolbox where a user can select a tool
and use that tool to interact with other items. for example. click on
the hand tool , pick up and move a particular item on the screen to a
new location.
