Not only that but when you use a lot of alpha transparency in images it kills
the processor performance. I've got lots of problems with Mac performance
where I work and I designed a background for a game with lots of alpha and
multiple overlays of the same clips with different tints on them. the game
came toa halt just becasue of the background. I tookt he BG, exported it
into photoshop and imported backa as a JPEG. The game flew after that like
normal. The background wasn't very detailed so I was able to compress the
heck out of it too.

PS, JDowdell, Can you please address the issue raised here many times,
recently, about PC generated flash .fla's not opening on the Macintosh. I
believe there are a number of us who's projects have come to a screaching
halt due to this. I know mine have. PLEASE???
