Flash 5 can read Flash 4 files, but Flash 4 can't 

read Flash 5 files... So, if you've saved your FLA

in Flash 5 format, there's no going back..


FWIW, Flash 4 does support MP3s, you just need

to convert them to WAVs first before you import 

them, after which you can convert back to MP3 

compression (using the sound settings).  You can use

winamp to convert them to WAVs too, so it's pretty

easy.
