While I have never seen the exact problem in your example, there are a couple 

of ways I've overcome Illustrator problems before (using Flash 4):


1. Import the Illustrator file (.ai) directly into Flash (without .swf 

conversion first) and retro-save your Illustrator file as a version 5.5.
