Hi Lisa,


The instructions are on the page (see below the graphic).

But I will elaborate some.

The variable that will be used as Input when the Call is called is Angle

which needs to be set on the main timeline. Then the functuion (The

Call) will process it and the aanswer will be put in the variable Answer

also on the main timeline.


The basic setup is copy the movie clip to its own layer.

Have a text field to enter the angle called Angle.

Have a button that calls the function like  Call ("/Trig:sin")

Then all you need is a place to display the answer and that is a text

field with the variable name of Answer. 


To use: Enter the text in the Angle text box then press the button and

you will see the trig result in the Anser text box.


This is the basic way all the Plug and Play routines (with variables)

work except variable names differ and some output to the same variable

as you input.


Of course you don't have to see the result, it could be hidden and just

do its stuff.
