Lisa,

To my knowledge, the answer is no.

If you know the length of the sound, you could be sure to start your next
desired events in the frame after the sound ends.

Also, If you started a sound in, say, frame 1, and then added blank
keyframes after that, you'll see a representation of the sound wave keep
going until the sound is at its endpoint (unless it is looping). Maybe that
would be a good marker for where to place your next action(s).
