The Rocky Mountain Digital Arts Center announces: Introduction and

Demonstration of Macromedia Flash 5.0!


The demonstration will be held September 16, 2000 from 1 p.m. ­ 3 p.m. at

the Rocky Mountain Digital Arts Center (RMDAC) in Denver, CO, USA.


This two-hour demonstration will introduce you to Macromedia¹s latest

release of Flash (version 5.0), the dynamic animation technology changing

the face of the internet. Design and functionality features added since

Flash 4.0 will be highlighted. Allen Ellison, a Web Technology Evangelist

for Macromedia and a former senior web architect and developer for Dream

Team Technologies, will conduct the introduction to this exciting new

software.


Guests will receive an overview of the program as well as a brief

introduction to Macromedia Generator. This demonstration is for anyone

interested in learning more about the capabilities of Flash 5.0, regardless

of previous experience with Flash.


The demonstration will be held at the Rocky Mountain Digital Arts Center,

located in Denver¹s Golden Triangle District at 1261 Delaware Street. RMDAC

is a studio custom designed for the digital arts, packed with

state-of-the-art technology including wireless ethernet, digital cameras,

scanners and color printers, and instructor workstation connectivity to a 65

sq. ft. screen with a 2300 lumens UXGA projection system. The projection

system is also connected to a DVD player, an S-VHS VCR, and 8ft satellite

dish with a professional surround-sound stereo system equivalent to a small

movie theater. The Rocky Mountain Digital Arts Center regularly hosts events

to introduce the latest creative technology to the Front Range and beyond.
