Chris,

Are you trying to create a movie in Flash and export it as QuickTime? It
loses a lot of "stuff" as it tries to make it QuickTime compatible. I have
found it is much better to create a Flash swf file and place it in a
QuickTime movie. You don't need anything fancy for QuickTime, the Pro
version of the player($30 US) works just fine for this application.
