FLASH: Syntax in F5.

HI Guys,


                I actually work on something in Flash5 and there is

something I need to know...


In Flash 4 I always create a MC named "Variables" where I place my global

variables.. To call a variable, I use:


(/Variables:Var)


But In Flash5 It dosent work... Whats the syntax to do this??  Or is there a

better way??
