Subject: FLASH: Flash Publish crashes Netscape! HELP!
From: larry armstrong

Hi.
I have a problem. I am trying to embed a flash movie into an html page with
layers/DHTML dropdown menus. This is working fine in IE but I have big
problems in Netscape.

I am using the Publish command to create HTML to check for the Flash plug-in
and call a JPEG if you don't have it, etc.

This code works fine in its raw form, exported straight from Flash:

http://www.cvimages.com/dontwork/products/balls/alone.html

However, when I insert it into the page with my navigation,

http://www.cvimages.com/dontwork/products/balls/crash.htm

It crashes Netscape!
It appears to be a problem with the <noembed> and/or <noscript> tags because
if I get rid of both of these:

http://www.cvimages.com/dontwork/products/balls/2linesgone.htm

Netscape does not crash.
If I get rid of only 1 (<noembed> or <noscript>), Netscape does not crash
but most of my images don't appear(?):

http://www.cvimages.com/dontwork/products/balls/noembed.htm
http://www.cvimages.com/dontwork/products/balls/noscript.htm

I must need these lines of code, though, or else they would not be there to
start with. I know Netscape is VERY picky with syntax, but I don't know what
to do on this one. All of the non Flash pages on the site work fine (using
the same template) I am running Windows 98 and Netscape 4.7. PLEASE HELP ME!

Thanks,
Larry Armstrong
