Subject: FLASH: websafe colors?!
From: julie gargan

I just read an interesting article about web safe colors on web monkey.
They compared all of the different kinds of bit depths and browsers and
discovered that there really are only 22 really *really* web safe colors
(it's a sad thought.) However as one of their suggestions for fixing this
problem they recommend using flash, because they claim the color shift that
people experience is not as prevalent with flash.....(which doesn't explain
why many people have problems with their bgcolors not matching between flash
and html....)

I learned way more about how monitors displayed colors than I ever thought I
would.....

enjoy--
