Subject: FLASH: The Banner Output option

Hi, I am curious about the banner output option that automatically plays
a gif instead of a flash if the browser plug in is not detected.

How does this option work differently than the standard publishing
options w/ and w/out javascript and URL s?

When trying to import a banner into Dreamweaver, you don't pull in the
entire html. But you have options to either Object and Embed, Object, or
Embed a Flash .swf. Only if you choose one [embed only I think] can you
choose an alternate gif or jpg in Dreamweaver.

Does that procedure create the same code as the Banner option in Publish?
And if so, that means that IE browsers, which Flash cannot detect the
plug in, will play the gif?

Jeff
