you can import mp3 now with FLASH 5. But you have to be carefully coz the
swf can be very large. I'm also a newbie at this. I'm actually trying to
figure out if I can stream the audio without including the entire MP3 in
FLASH 5.

Flash can't import .mp3 files. All you need is to convert the mp3 to the
.wav format . And there are a lot of converters out there on the net !
