Go to flashlite.com (or any of the other sites mentioned in the FAQ, the
latest version was posted today by jd) and do a search on mouse tracking.
Briefly, there is only really one way to track the mouse position in F4, you
use an empty clip, tell it to start drag as soon as the movie starts then
find it's position using GetProperty. In F5 i believe you can directly get
the mouse x and y position without this workaround.
You then just tell your movieclip to respond to certain x,y positions of the
mouse - there are literally thousands of ways you could do this, some based
on playing clip animations and a lot based on mathematical calculations of
relative positions (like the example you gave).
