Not sure I quite follow why you'd want to...

The number of layers in your project has a negligible effect on file size.
You want to be worrying about your graphics sizes. Have you looked at the
size report you get when you publish your movie?

The bad news is that a whole animated environment of loads of little animals
is very likely to demand a significant chunk of graphics space...

Hello lads n lasses!!!

Im not very experianced in flash and have created rather a large file size
on my recent project.
There are about 20 layers but they are not interactive...they are just a
series of small movies which all play at the same time to create a
virtual environment full of animated animals and whatnot! Is there some way
that i can merge all the layers together so that its just one whole movie
instead of leaving them seperate??? Im not sure if ive made myself clear but
if anyone understands this please could you help as it isvery urgent.
