well, just get a One2One or Virgin Mobile and atleast you don't pay to
retrieve voicemail.

Voicemail spam. Now this I would get pissed off about if I got a message
during the daytime and it cost 40p/minute for some needless spiel. It costs
the spammer a premium and the user too. Mad, and maddening.
Compared to this, the email problem rapidly diminishes in significance.
