Like you, I bought a Timeport P789 because of WAP & Tri-brand capability. In this case my network is Virgin.

It comes preloaded with -- surprise surprise -- links to myriad Virgin sites but does give you the opportunity to type in another site.

Unfortunately you must:

1) Go to screen 2
2) Choose Other sites
3) SCROLL! down a legal disclaimer and verify that Virgin has nothing to do with other people's sites. Duh.
4) Type in your WAP address.

There is a key to bookmark, but it errors out. After complaining to Virgin, they told me they were missing a file on their server. Weeks later, they still haven't updated it.

Although it is possible to change your homepage, Virgin has "locked" in theirs so one is stuck with their choices.

Regrets all around.
