Subject: UKNM: some serious advice from you marketing experts please
From: foluke_new.uk

Hi,
I am after a little advice.

I own a website aimed at women of colour in the UK called precious
(www.preciousonline.co.uk). Although we have only been around since late
summer we are attracting a healthy number of hits. We also seem to have
inspired a few copycat sites and I think it's time we stepped up a gear in
terms of presence.

We are thinking of holding a night of culture (poetry/arts etc) and are
looking for a suitable sponsor.
What I'd like to know is how do you go about it.
Do you just call companies up and say hey I'd like you to sponsor us? - Do
you send a specially worded letter? What’s the deal?

Any help/advice would be gratefully received and appreciated

Thanks
Foluke
