Subject: UKNM: Securing start-up investment/advice
From: Damian Jakes

I have an idea for a portal - having thought through the concept it is
something no-one else is doing and could potentially have a great number of
revenue streams and would hopefully be an attractive investment prospect.

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction - How do I
go about finding some (potential) investors? I've heard of First Tuesday
but I am not sure what the proceedure is - would I have to go along there
with a full business plan or would an outline be sufficient?

Are there any other ways of meeting potential investors/any VC's I could
contact straight away?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would like to get my idea off the
ground as soon as possible.
