First Tuesday (http://www.firsttuesday.com) is a good place to start.

Register on the site and you will be notified of where the next event

will be. You need to bring along any solid business plans- just be

prepared to talk about your business to potential investors. Meetings

are held around central London every Tuesday night although the first

Tuesday of the month are the biggest draw.
