Subject: UKNM: food on the net
From: Claire Mason

Dear all,
I am trying to find out what percentage of internet transactions are
currently made up by food and drink. I would also like to know if
supermarket sales over the web are ever likely to rival sales of books, DVDs
etc. Does anyone have any current stats or reliable predictions? I am
primarily interested in the UK but I would be interested to see how the US
compares.
I think this has been asked recently, but does anyone know the best source
of up to date web user demographics. If it is possible to drill down into
the stats, does anyone know where I might find a profile for online food
shoppers?
Many thanks in advance for your help.
Cheers!
Claire
