"Telstra's $300 million plan to acquire the Internet customers of its
nearest rival, OzEmail, looks set to be rejected by the competition
regulator as early as today after major concerns in the industry over the
power it would give Telstra. The Australian Competition and Consumer
Commission will hold a special meeting today to consider the plan, which
would give Telstra control of 800,000 Internet subscribers."
