Subject: UKNM: B2C subscription sites

Yes! Sites with sports information in the States have been selling
subscriptions for some time to consumers. Some newspapers, including the
New York Times, are making a small amount selling individual articles
online, but it's not worth bothering about.

There is also a rising tide in the whole "selling subscription newsletters
online" thing here, whether they are fulfilled online or not. Companies
including Softlock.com, EBrandedBooks.com, Newsletters.com and others.

Last but not least, you'll want to look into the whole content syndication
model. Many for-fee (and even for-free) content publishers are making a
good profit syndicating their content to others who give it away. Middlemen
include iSyndicate.com (who just started a UK Branch) and
ScreamingMedia.com. Right now they are most interested in sports, financial
and health content. They are also longing to do deals with anyone who can
provide content that will do well on wireless devices.
