Sorry Robin, you're quite right, the comparison doesn't stand up. Its just
me being maungy because companies like ours suffer a sort of 'guilt by
association' with other businesses related to the internet (and I use the
word 'businesses' in the loosest terms).

Ironically (or not), you almost imply that e-tailers are defined by their
inability to fulfil your three criteria for success. I'd agree with you.
